DAY 1: MARRAKECH -

We will collect you from your hotel/riad in Marrakech and start heading to the Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n‘Tichka pass, the direct route towards Ouarzazate. It is spectacular and dramatic road that presents astonishing views of the snow topped peaks of the Atlas as well as many Berber villages. Upon our descend, we will arrive to the cultural heritage site of Morocco; the Ksour of Ait BenHaddou. DAY 2 : DADES VALLEY -
In the morning, we will enjoy views of the Dades Valley and the Dades Gorge cut out from the valley into the High Atlas. From here we will travel to the Gorge of Todra. This whole area is spotted by ruined Kasbahs, green oasis, and typical villages, which creates a paradise for any photographer. The Todra Gorge is a classic gorge with narrow high rock walls that rises 300 meters high. After taking a break to stretch our legs in the gorge, we will continue our travel to the desert of Morocco, the sunny sand dunes of Erg Chebbi near Merzouga.
DAY 3: CAMEL RIDE IN ERG CHEBBI AND NIGHT IN MERZOUGA CAMP
This is a complete desert day. “Sunrise Appointment”, if you are In the middle of the desert, it’s absolutely worth getting up early to contemplate the most spectacular sunrise that you have ever seen at the top of a dune close to the camp and enjoy this landscape that is a nature gift. After sunrise we return to Merzouga on the camels where a hearty breakfast is waiting for us. Then we will skirt the Erg Chebbi, great extension of sandy desert where we can find the big dune of Morocco, which has more than 250 meters high. Then, we continue by a road where we can see nomad settlements and learn their secrets and manners. Then, we will reach Khamlia Village, originally from Mali, where we will take a relaxing cup of tea meanwhile we listen to a concert of the spiritual music of Gnawa. Transfer to your luxury accommodation and free afternoon to enjoy the town or the dunes next to the hotel to see the sunset, dinner and overnight at your Hotel or at the nomadic private tent again.
DAY 4: MERZOUGA DESERT -
This morning after breakfast, you have a final chance to climb the dunes before setting off. A long but scenic journey then brings you through the southern Anti Atlas desert terrain where you may see nomadic camel herders crossing plains and witness the thriving date palm communities of this remote landscape.
